BECOME A PTA ROOM PARENT!
We are looking for enthusiastic and caring parents/guardians to support our students and teachers by volunteering as Room Parents for the school year! Each class will have two Room Parents to share responsibilities and work together to make the school year fun, organized, and memorable.
What does a Room Parent do?
If you are interested in being a room parent please fill out the google form here by 9/29/25.
Assigned Room Parents will be notified by 10/1/25.

What does a Room Parent do?
- ✅ Join the PTA (required)
Become a member by visiting our Navesink PTA Store - 🗓 Attend PTA Meetings
Participate in all PTA meetings and share a brief summary with other class parents to keep everyone informed. - 🎉 Plan Classroom Parties
Coordinate with the teacher to schedule and organize classroom celebrations throughout the year (number of parties may vary by grade). - 🔁 Act as a Liaison
Serve as the communication bridge between the PTA, the teacher, and classroom families regarding events, reminders, and important updates. - 🍎 Support Teacher Appreciation Week
Work with the PTA to plan and organize special events for our amazing teachers during this week of gratitude. - 📸 Submit Photos to the Yearbook
Help collect and share photos of students from class activities and school events for the yearbook committee.
- You may apply to be a Room Parent in more than one class, but will only be selected for one.
- Assigned Room Parents will be notified by October 1st.
